Republican Senator John Cornyn of Texas , in true political fashion, has found it necessary to delay the vote on Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. It was originally planned to have the Senate vote on the Hillary Clinton nomination today. It now appears that the Senate vote will be delayed by at least a day. Why Senator Cornyn finds it necessary to enact this delay can be seen as nothing more than political chicanery. Hillary Clinton will be confirmed by nearly a unanimous Senate vote. Let us move on and get to the business of our nation.
