| Barack Obama and John McCain have one thing in common, each candidate wants to occupy the Oval Office January 20, 2009. Beyond this point they do share other points of view. Both McCain & Obama believe they have the best solutions for our country. Each candidate has chosen a running mate, Joe Biden is Barack Obama's choice and Sarah Palin is John McCain's choice. Biden does complement Barack Obama, Joe Biden brings some "gravitas" to the Democratic ticket. Beyond the hype and obvious age/youth of Sarah Palin John McCain has made his choice based on what will turn the tide of his inexorable defeat in November. Sarah Palin plays well to the hysteria created by the media to the benefit of the McCain handlers. Sarah Palin would be one heart beat from the oval office and more distressing one finger movement from pushing the button that would/could devistate mankind. I do not believe that the Governor of Alaska once removed from the local PTA and Mayorship of a backwater Alaska town is ready for the mantle of this level of authority and responsibilty. It should be impressed to voters, male and female alike, that the thrill of gender will soon give way to experience and good judgment. I do not recall hearing or reading that Sarah Palin has been in a position requiring sage judgment. Name one major decision she has made in Alaska that could remotely be a crossover to qualifying her to be Vice President? Our choice in November ought to be based on qualification's not a "Public Relations" creation. Why has Sarah Palin not made herself available to the media/talk show circuit. Can she not deal with the reality of what the future would hold in Washington D.C.? Barack Obama and Joe Biden separately and collectively, based on information presented to the voters, far exceed the questionable qualifications of Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin and a Presidential candidate, John McCain that is one step from the local assisted living facility. Barack Obama and Joe Biden need to be elected this Novemebr. Make sure your head not your heart is the deciding factor when you cast your vote in less than 60 days. Comments...................
